UPDATED 01/24/11:
Dear Owners,
Just to let you know, the elevator upgrades are almost complete! Within 2 weeks we should have a better, more efficient (and nicer looking) elevator system! I know it's been a long time coming and we can't wait for you to see the results!!
UPDATED 10/27/10:
Owners,
Just to let you know the Gulf Coast Claims Facility acting on behalf of BP is only accepting claims for emergency advance payments through November 23, 2010. They will however be accepting final filings through August 23, 2013. The following information came from their website:
When should I file a Claim?
If you seek an Emergency Advance Payment, you should complete a Claim Form as soon as you have gathered the necessary documentation to support your claim. You may submit a claim seeking an Emergency Advance Payment through November 23, 2010. You may submit a claim for Final Payment through August 23, 2013.
This could mean that if you do not file an initial claim by November 23, 2010 you may miss your opportunity to file a claim at all! We highly recommend that you file before the November deadline to get monies for your 2010 losses. We do not yet know what the lasting effects of the oil spill on rental revenues may be in the coming year and cannot recommend finalizing your claim yet.
Owners,
Effective August 23, 2010 a new claims process will be in effect for BP claims. The following information was provided by BP:
Claims previously filed with the BP Claims Process related to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico are transitioning on August 23 to the new Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF) for review, evaluation and determination.
Effective August 23, 2010, to file a claim, you can do one of the following:
- Access the GCCF website at www.GulfCoastClaimsFacility.com.
- Call the toll-free number 1(800) 916-4893 1(800) 916-4893 to receive a copy of the claim
form by U.S. Mail (TTY: 1 (866) 682-1758 1 (866) 682-1758 - Visit one of the GCCF Claims Site Offices, locations of which can be found at the above web site.
In order to ensure the orderly transition of data to the GCCF, BP will not accept claims into its system between August 19 and August 22.
For existing claimants only: The Immediate Action Claims Team will continue to operate through Sunday, August 22, and can be contacted at 1(800) 573-8249 1(800) 573-8249. This team will work only with those who have real emergencies.
GCCF is the only authorized organization managing business and individual claims related to the Deepwater Horizon Incident.
